We're not sure if this is the best way to prove to the world that you're not anti-Semitic, Charlie.
Last week, Charlie Sheen was being accused of anti-Semitism, after referring to Two and a Half Men's Chuck Lorre by his Hebrew name, Chaim Levine.
Now, Charlie is firing back at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and he's had lawyer Marty Singer send a letter to them, demanding that THEY apologize to HIM. Sheen claims he was simply trying to "address the man rather than his television persona."
Not only is Sheen demanding an apology from the Jewish organization, but in the legal letter, he's trying to get the ADL to turn against Chuck Lorre himself!
In the letter, Singer says that Chuck Lorre referred to himself as "Chaim" in a February vanity card, in which Lorre wrote about "a lifetime of distancing himself from Judaism."
…And we've reached a whole new level of ugly/crazy.
