Yeah… no. No, no, no!
While on the red carpet, Julia Louis-Dreyfus admitted that she won't walk away tonight with the globe for Best Performance By An Actress for her role on Veep.
We've got news for her — that's not the only award you won't be walking away with. A best dressed award is also not in her future…!
Julia made her way down the carpet in a custom black and nude gown by Vera Wang, that featured hand appliquéd floral chantilly lace, with a gathered silk tulle overlay and wrapped horsehair belt.
Besides being too long, her makeup doesn't complement the look at all; and while she has the bust for a sweetheart neckline, could it have killed her to put a necklace on? Give it just a little POP?
Just not her night, we guess! Oh well!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore an award-worthy dress at the Emmys on Sunday in El Lay!
Before picking up the award for Best Comedy Actress, the Veep actress looked walked the red carpet in a beautiful custom Vera Wang merlot silk tulle and charmeuse mermaid gown with classic corset detailing and sheer ruched overlay accents.
Julia's turquoise jewelry was very bohemian, but still went very well with the dress color.
The look was overall classy, but not particularly memorable.

The country might be in a whole HEAP of trouble!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus will play the U.S. Vice President on HBO's VEEP and it looks like she's in over her head.
Since the show is on HBO, there's lots of naughty language so the show promises to have some great R rated humor.
Plus, who doesn't love a great political satire! And her character is one heartbeat away from being the President of the United States!

HBO wants some Alaskan loving from Sarah Palin.
The premium cabler has ordered up Julia Louis-Dreyfus' show, Veep. The show will have Julia in a comedic role as the VP of the United States who is one heartbeat away from the presidency, a la Miss Palin if things went different in '08.
Game Change, HBO's other endeavor, will take Palin the literal sense as the telefilm documents 2008 election. Julianne Moore will don the mom glasses and high bun as Palin.
Should be a great political Spring for HBO!

Hmm! Maybe this means we can expect something a bit darker from Elaine!
HBO has just given the green light to Veep, a D.C.-set comedy starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, and Vada Sultenfuss Anna Chlumsky. Julia is set to play Sen. Selina Meyer, who finds herself becoming the Vice President and the job being nothing like she anticipated.
Ain't that always the way!
The show will go into production this fall and hopefully premiere sometime in mid-2012. Wonder if Larry David had a helping hand in this??

We guess that guest-starring stint on Curb Your Enthusiasm got them back in TV mode!
On the heels of former Seinfeld co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus' announcement that she is starring on a new HBO show, Jason Alexander has reportedly signed on to a CBS hour-long series, as its star AND executive producer!
The so-far-untitled comedy will feature Alexander as "a former TV star who's down on his luck and winds up joining his ex-wife's detective agency. Once there, the character reinvents himself as an investigator with a penchant for disguise."
Hmm - sounds a little silly to us, but if anyone can pull it off, it's him!
We're very curious to see how this one turns out!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has signed on to star in a comedy pilot for HBO titled Veep.
The series, which is created by British comedian, writer and director Armando Iannucci, will center around Senator Selina Meyer, played by Dreyfus, who becomes Vice President.
The details are minimal, but so far, this sounds good.
