John Lennon's oldest son, Julian, is pissed for being "snubbed" from an invite to SEVERAL big Beatles' events, including Sir Paul McCartney's recent NYC wedding reception.

On October 23rd, the day after Paul and new bride Nancy Shevell hosted the star-studded wedding reception, Julian lashed out on his Facebook page for not getting an invite. The 48-year-old and son of John's first wife, wrote:

We're very glad to hear this.

Although John Lennon's sons Julian and and Sean have had an often difficult and tumultuous relationship, they seem to have laid their issues to rest and are getting along much better now!

Apparently, the problems started in 1980 after their father was tragically murdered, and Julian and his mother started clashing with Sean and Yoko Ono over a portion of the famed singer's estate.

Thankfully, Julian recently revealed:

"Things are good between us. Whenever I'm in New York we all get together. Sean even asked me to shoot his album cover - for free, of course."

Sean and Yoko were apparently even spotted last week showing their support of Julian at his photography exhibit at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in NYC!

Lovely!

Family is so important, and we don't think John would have wanted his children estranged from each other.

We hope they can continue to move forward in this positive direction!
