The Broadway wunderkind Julie Harris was found dead in her Massachusetts home this past Saturday, ending a record career.
Julie won an astounding 5 Tony Awards for best actress in a play, as well as a 6th Tony, which honored her with a lifetime achievement award.
The late, great actress was best known for her roles on stage and screen, that ranged from Sally Bowles in I Am a Camera, to Emily Dickinson in The Belle of Amherst, to Abra in East of Eden, playing opposite James Dean (not the porn star).
We wish her family all the best, as she takes this last and final bow! What a sad closing curtain to a long, successful career.
