Life Finds A Way! Chris Pratt Apparently Predicted Getting Cast In Jurassic Park 4 Years Ago!

chris pratt predict jurassic park 4 roleChris Pratt, you may be an AH-Mazing actor, but you're also clearly clairvoyant.

Years ago, Chris was apparently shooting behind the scenes footage for the Season 2 DVDs of Parks and Rec when he jokingly received a text from Steven Spielberg!

It was obviously a gag, but then he goes and says, "I'll have to get back to you later about Jurassic Park 4."

If we were eating Jello (like Lex did in the original movie) when we watched him say that, we'd also barely be able to keep it on a spoon. It's that eerie.

Whoa. Does this prediction prove Dr. Malcolm's Chaos Theory? We certainly think so!

Ch-ch-check out the prophesy…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Jurassic Park 4 Will NOT Be A Clone Of The First Movie!

jurassic park1 481597

When we heard that Jurassic Park 4 was going to be made, we only had one thing to say to Steven Spielberg: "Shooooot heeer!"

Now, what's even more exciting is that the newest installation of the InGen-ious franchise will NOT be a clone of the first one!

With every successful film series ever made seeming to get a reboot these days - Superman, Spider-Man, even talks of Batman - it's nice to hear that they'll be preserving the prestige of the first film in amber by not remaking it.

Like, can you imagine if R-Patz played Ian Malcolm, or Daniel Day-Lewis played a raptor? No thanks!

Meanwhile, the director of Jurassic Park 4, Colin Trevorrow, says it's been incredible working with Steven Spielberg, and went on to say this about the upcoming film:

Jurassic Park IV Has A Director! And Time-Traveling Dinosaurs In Love?!

jurassic-park-4-director-colin-trevorrow-universal-steven-spielberg-safety-not-guaranteed-dinosaur-dong

Twelve years after the underwhelming third installment sent Jurassic Park to franchise purgatory, Universal is finally taking the first steps to move ahead with the next sequel!

The production company stiffened the movie boner in our dino-underoos today by announcing the director of Jurassic Park IV:

It's Colin Trevorrow!

OK, don't everyone rush off to IMDB at once!

Colin helmed Safety Not Guaranteed with Aubrey Plaza and it was one of 2012's BEST quirky rom-coms featuring a time-traveling boat!

While the up-and-coming filmmaker's resume isn't as big as, say, JP4 executive producer Steven Spielberg's dong, we're totes confident this project can be

Spielberg Talks Lincoln, Robopocalypse, Tintin Sequels, And Jurassic Park 4!

steven spielberg talks new projects

Steven is keeping buuuuuuuuuusy!

During a recent interview, Steven Spielberg opened up about a bunch of his upcoming projects, and it sounds like he's got some fantastic stuff in the works!

Here's Steven on Lincoln and Robopocalypse (of course!):

"I just finished shooting a movie about Abraham Lincoln staring Daniel Day-Lewis which I am so deeply proud of. But because I am right in the middle of the editing of Lincoln, I’m not really going to speak and talk very much about that until the time is right to talk about it."

"And I’m making a science fiction movie probably in September called Robopocalypse based on Daniel Wilson’s book. It’s a cautionary tale about war between human beings and robots. It’s a big crowd pleaser, I think, a big action popcorn movie with a message. The message is actually in the popcorn! You have to get the popcorn, dig down deep in the bottom and there’ll be a message about what Robopocalypse is really about! And I have a couple of other plans which I don’t want to go into because they’re too far out of the horizon. But there’s a lot of work ahead, a lot of television my company is producing for some of the networks and some of the cable outlets. So I’m busy!"

More from Steven on Tintin sequels, the first of which is being directed by Peter Jackson:

Steven Spielberg Speaks On Jurassic Park IV And Indiana Jones 5!

Steven Spielberg Indiana Jones Jurassic Park

Saying it's hard to keep a franchise going strong is an understatement!

But Steven Spielberg definitely seems into it. Especially with pal George Lucas by his side.

They're both currently working on Indiana Jones 5, and he assures us George has all the sauce:
