We're not sure if you guys were aware, but today is a very special day, indeed.

That's right, James Franco's bizarre musical collaboration Kalup Linzy has been released today, and in honor of that, feel free to check out the title track from the EP, Turn It Up (above)!

Well…in good news, we like it more than we liked the last song they released!

But we're still a little confused as to how exactly the seksi actor fits into this project!

Seriously. We don't think we heard him once!

James Franco has once again left us all scratching our heads with his brand new music video, alongside Kalup Linzy, for the song Rising, off the duo otherwise known as Kalup and Franco's upcoming debut EP, called Turn It Up.

Looks like someone was having fun!

James Franco donned a blonde wig and grabbed the mic along with his partner Kalup Linzy at a screening of Franco's indie film Three's Company: The Drama.

Seriously. This guy can do ANYTHING.

Not only is James Franco a film actor, short story author, visual artist, soap opera star, and co-host of 2011's Academy Awards, but now he's half of a musical duo called Kalup and Franco.

Along with his General Hospital pal, Kalup Linzy, a video and performance artist from Brooklyn, James will be releasing an album in 2011, along with producing the band's videos, and making live appearances.

The two have started a Facebook page, where I'm sure you all will be more than eager to click on the "Like" button. On there, you'll see the band's slogan:

"Where dreams, art, music, films, soap operas, real life, and performance art collide."

LOLs. Amazeballs.

And he's still going on about his effing soap opera character Franco!!

Check out this interview of James Franco with openly gay performance artist Kalup Linzy at El Lay Pride this past weekend - the two are apparently collaborating on a project together that will coincide with their guest appearances on General Hospital!

We can't exactly tell if they're serious or not, but…we're happy to see them out and about getting their GAY on!
