This is so inspirational!

Over the weekend, Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis helped raise $100,000 for cancer patients while performing in the Giggle With Gilda event, which was geared toward benefitting the cancer foundation Gilda's Club.

Entertainer Missy Koonce hosted the show and trumpeter Lonnie McFadden and his band played some jazz, which followed with a moment of silence for the Boston Marathon bombings and the plant explosion in Texas.

Oh MAN! We just don't get life sometimes!

So apparently, Modern Family stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Julie Bowen were attempting to do something really great last night by headlining a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club in Kansas City…when they ended up being TRAPPED inside the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel for nearly AN HOUR when it broke down with them in it!

Thankfully, the local fire department managed to eventually come to their rescue and they only ended up being an hour late to the event, but we're happy to see that the comedians made the best of their impromptu downtime by posting photos and videos of the ordeal on Twitter!

She may be considered a harsh judge this season on The X Factor, but on last night's episode, Britney Spears reminded the world that she's also an extremely thoughtful friend…and a supremely talented singer!

During the Kansas City round of auditions earlier this summer, the pop sensation and Demi Lovato decided to surprise co-judge L.A. Reid backstage in celebration of his birthday, but it was our gurl Brit Brit who ultimately presented him with the delicious-looking CAKE…and a very pretty a capella version of "Happy Birthday!"

That's not Simon Cowell!

We mentioned previously that X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh had stepped in for Simon during the US Kansas City auditions and when Si is away…the gang will play!

L.A. Reid, Demi Lovato and of course, Mz. Brit Brit took some time out for an interview in KC and spilled on everything they'd been seeing!
