Bullied Bus Monitor Karen Klein Finally Fights Back… With Charity

Karen Klein Foundation

Ever wonder what you would do with all that money people raised for Karen Klein?

The famously bullied bus monitor received over $700,000 to retire! So what is she doing with her retirement money? Putting it to work!

The Karen Klein Anti-Bullying Foundation is Karen's way of giving back and helping a cause she believes in. She says:

“I thought it would be a great idea, and I’m hoping this foundation will seriously help all these kids. It’s also not just kids. When you’re a kid being bullied, you should talk to an adult. When the adult is being bullied, I don’t know who the heck they can talk to. That’s why I want to help.’’

The new foundation will take Karen all over the countrry to tell her story and to preach the message that bullying isn't OK.

On the way, she'll join up with fellow anti-bullying advocates like Oprah's Big Give winner Stephen Paletta and Miss Teen USA Logan West.

“I’m excited. Just being able to go to several different states and spread the message, and also be able to work with Miss Teen USA is going to be great.”

We're so glad all that money went to a good cause! Be honest- would U have just sipped Margaritas poolside for the rest of your life?

The right person definitely got the money! What a beautiful ending to this story that started so ugly!

Karen Klein has finally gotten off the bus!

The grandmother announced her retirement from the Greece school district Friday, to which all of America says, "Duh-DOY!"

We would have been out before the infamous video was done filming, but Karen says she definitely isn't leaving because of the incident. She says:

"I'm not quitting because of what happened. That's not it. I enjoyed working with the kids. But I guess it's my time to leave. That's what I've decided."

Oh, Karen! We never thought you were running away from pre-adolescent bullies! We assumed you were running toward your $700,000!

Believe it or not, it was a little more than the former bus monitor was going to make on her 401K!

Bus Monitor Karen Klein's Grand Total: $703,873

karen klein bullied bus monitor

When Max Sidorov decided to raise money for Karen Klein, he set the goal at a modest $5,000, figuring that would be enough to pay for the abused bus monitor to take a much-needed vacation.

But the people have spoken with their dollars and sent more than enough for Karen to make that vacation permanent!

The Indiegogo campaign ended Friday after exceeding Max's goal by almost 14,000 PERCENT! The end total was $703,873.

We already know that the kind, soft-spoken Karen will do good things with the money, so we can only be happy for this amazing outcome.

If only all stories of school bullying could end this way! Talk about it getting better!

Karen Klein Gets Honored!!!

So cool!!!

Karen Klein and her daughter got a sightseeing tour Thursday on an amphibious duck boat that also involved some local children.

The bullied former bus monitor arrived in a stretch limo where she was presented with a bouquet of flowers and was welcomed by a youth cheerleading squad who escorted her on a red carpet to receive an honorary Boston school bus monitor certificate.

Here's what Klein said:

"I've never had this much attention in my whole life."

You totally deserve it, lady!

We love the irony of her life being changed in such a positive way after she was bullied.

We wish that could happen to all the bullied people in the world!

Karen Klein Is A Bus Monitor No More!

Not only was Karen Klein bullied by those awful kids on the bus, she was also bullied by some school administrators who didn't think she was doing her job correctly.

That's ridiculous.

Here's what the bullied bus monitor said:

"Well, the things that they've said about me. 'Well she didn't do her job.' It doesn't matter that all of this has come up and it's helping people."

It are these comments, NOT the sudden huge sums of money she's received from sympathetic people all around the world, why she is absolutely not going back to work for the Greece School District as a bus monitor.

Hey, we don't blame her in the slightest!

Why work as a bus monitor when you can own like thirty buses??

Of course Klein isn't going to waste her money as she has said she'll spend it mainly on the future of her grandchildren, and donate it to worthwhile causes.

Such a sweet lady.
