Star Trek 4 Is Coming — And Chris Hemsworth Is Returning To Star!

no title

We're not sure if we can handle this much man candy in one Star Trek movie!

Star Trek Beyond is hitting theaters this weekend, and Paramount is celebrating by announcing a fourth film in the rebooted Sci-Fi series!

On Monday, the studio announced that Star Trek 4 will feature a familiar face — and that face is the chiseled jawline of Chris Hemsworth!

The Thor actor will reprise his role as Captain Kirk's (Chris Pine) father George Kirk, who is described as "a man he never had a chance to meet, but whose legacy has haunted him since the day he was born."

Four days ahead of Star Trek Beyond's Wednesday premiere at Comic-Con, the studio revealed that the two Kirks will cross paths in the fourth installment of the space saga.

Along with Pine, the remaining cast — including Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, and Simon Pegg — are all expected to return for the next film.

Since George sacrificed his life in the beginning of the 2009's Star Trek, it sounds like time travel will be involved in the Kirk family reunion…

Either way, adding a Hemsworth to any movie is always a smart move!

Get excited for the return of George Kirk by catching Star Trek Beyond in theaters July 22!

Rihanna Is An Alien With The Voice Of An Angel In Her New Star Trek Beyond Music Video! Watch Sledgehammer HERE!

Work them tools, RiRi!

Rihanna has been all about that sci-fi life recently, so the music video for her new single Sledgehammer feels perfectly on brand.

The Work singer teamed up with none other than Sia to make the song for Star Trek Beyond, which definitely explains the futuristic/space age vibe we're getting!

Video: Sia's Cheap Thrills Music Video… Originally Written For Rihanna!

While the song sounds much more Sia than Rihanna, the video itself actually reminds us of a mix between Nicki Minaj's Hey Mama and Ariana Grande's Break Free… and we ain't complainin'!

Plus, who wouldn't love to see a giant Rihanna constellation up in the sky?!

Ch-ch-check out Rihanna's powerful Sledgehammer (above)!!!

Watch The First TV Spot For Dredd 3D

Is it just us or is Karl Urban doing a mediocre impression of Christian Bale's Batman in the first TV spot for Dredd 3D (above)?

We're getting close to the end of the summer, so Lionsgate is rolling out a movie they figured couldn't compete with the rest of the seasons blockbusters. Here's hoping for the best.

Since they had to stick "3D" into the title in an attempt to lure audiences into the theater on September 21, our expectations aren't too high. Just in case you have high hopes that Hollywood can resurrect the franchise Sylvester Stallone and the director of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer killed off in 1995, here ya go!

Katee Sackhoff Riddick

The franchise that kicked off Vin Diesel's career is getting another addition, a third film in the Riddick series.

Having been on Battlestar Galactica, Katee Sackhoff knows how to do science fiction — which could be one of the reasons she's been chosen to play opposite Vin Diesel for part three of the chronicles!

She'll be playing Dayl, a nordic mercenary after Diesel's Riddick. We also hear that Karl Urban has signed back on for Vaako!

First Image Released From Unnecessary Judge Dredd Remake

first image released from judge dredd remake

Check out the photo (above) to see the first image of Karl Urban as the new Judge Dredd.

For those of you out there who don't know Karl Urban, he does really great movies every once in a while, such as Star Trek and Lord of the Rings: The Return of The King, but SOMETIMES he does unwatchable movies, like Doom and Ghost Ship.

Take a guess which category we're thinking Dredd will fall into. And yes, it's just called Dredd!

We're REALLY not sure why they're remaking Judge Dredd, which was a low-point of Sylvester Stallone's career and the year 1995 as a whole.

For those of you who are innerested, back in May we heard the script described as a "high-octane slay ride through the dark underbelly of a vast futuristic city."

What do U think? Is this movie a bad idea? Or will it defy our expectations and NOT suck?
