Best Healthy Frozen Meals

If you find yourself strapped for time and unable to cook a full meal for yourself, frozen meals can be a good substitute. Unfortunately, the majority of frozen meals are terrible for you and not worth your time.

Here are four frozen meals that are both healthy and delicious!

Kashi Chicken Florentine
With grilled chicken, spinach, red peppers and baby portobello mushrooms over orzo pilaf, this meal has 22 grams of fiber to keep you full and satisfied. And it won't cost you much in terms of calories. You're looking at 290 calories, 9 grams of fat (4 saturated grams) and 550 mg sodium. Bonus: The white wine garlic sauce is delicious.

Lean Cuisine Santa Fe-Style Rice & Beans
This meal gives you two servings of veggies — so you're well on your way to the daily 3 to 5 servings recommended by the USDA. Though it feels indulgent and fills up your belly (mmm . . . cheese and sour cream!), this dish only has 290 calories, 5 grams of fat (2 grams saturated fat) and 590 mg sodium.

Amy's Light & Lean Spinach Lasagna
This veggie-packed meal is 81 percent organic and packed with 40 percent of your daily recommended vitamin A, 20 percent of your Vitamin C, 20 percent of your calcium and 15 percent of your iron. The other nutritional stats are solid as well: 240 calories, 5 grams of fat (2.4 grams saturated fat) and 540 mg sodium. If you're worried about sodium intake (especially if you have high blood pressure), opt for the "Light in Sodium Vegetable Lasagna," which has slightly more fat (290 calories, 8 grams of fat), but just 340 mg of sodium.

Healthy Choice Complete Meals Golden Roasted Turkey Breast
In our recent post about the Worst Frozen Dinners, we told you about a Hungry-Man turkey dish that's off-the-charts unhealthy. This Healthy Choice meal is a guiltless get-in-the-mood-for-Thanksgiving alternative. You get turkey, gravy, veggies and antioxidant-rich cherry-blueberry crisp for dessert for just 290 calories, 4.5 grams of fat (1 gram saturated) and 460 mg sodium. Don't worry, Mom — while it's yummy, nothing comes close to your Turkey Day feas
