On Saturday, December 10th, Kat Graham and her Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder are attempting to create a "ripple effect" to change that!

The CW stars are hosting a black-tie event featuring a multi-course dinner and silent auction to benefit The Water Project, an organization dedicated to providing developing countries access to safe drinking water.

Just over a hundred tickets are left for the red carpet benefit dinner at the Sunset Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles, which promises to be nothing short of dazzling!

The Vampire Diaries may not have been nominated for an Emmy, but we don't think Kat Graham or any other cast and crew members seemed to mind.

Instead, they spent last Sunday getting their sumo wrestle on! The singer and actress tweeted:

"Dear Emmys, thanks so much for the invite but I'd rather be sumo wrestling in the park w @xoMalese and cast and crew…"

Why walk the red carpet when you can gear up in a fat suit and wrestle on a red mat instead? LOLz!

Looks like a blast, but we don't doubt you'll be getting an invite to the Emmy Awards sooner than later!
