Kate Moss' long awaited Vogue cover is here and it was definitely worth the wait!
Much to our surprise Mrs. Jamie Hince isn't wearing white on the cover, but rather a beautiful eggplant Alexander McQueen gown and she looks stunning!
We're also very pleased with Mossy's Carrie Bradshaw-inspired editorial because it could have been really cheesy, but it's the complete opposite.
Here are some HIGHlights from Kate's interview:
On saying yes after watching My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding:
"I am so romantic about Gypsies. They’re not allowed to do anything until they get married. So they all get married really young, at sixteen. You can’t believe the dresses. They’re like blinging butterflies times ten; they can’t move down the aisle! It’s so genius. I was just watching Jamie, so cute, and I was like, these girls, they just spend their whole life waiting for that day—let’s do it!"
On prepping for the wedding:
"Let’s put it this way. If I didn’t have my friends. . . . I don’t know how people do it. I’ve had big birthday parties, and I’ve thrown parties for other people, but this is a completely different thing. It’s the Met Ball! Because you have to look at every piece of cutlery; the details are intense. And then you wake up thinking about the ballet shoes for the girls; is the satin ribbon right? I’ve gone mental. Jamie thinks I’m mad, asking, ‘Are you gonna be all right? After the wedding, I’m hoping you’ll get back to normal!’ "
On the style of the wedding:
"I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus. The Great Gatsby. The code name was GG for a while. That light and that kind of fun decadence. It’s rock-’n’-roll Great Gatsby!"
On her John Galliano wedding dress:
"When I put the dress on, I’m really happy. I forget about everything…I’ve lived in his dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable. But it’s so much more couture, couture, couture. Oh, my God, the work that’s going into the dress!"
She sounds so in love! Congrats again, Mrs. Hince!

Kate Moss finally got her fairytale wedding on Friday when she married The Kills rocker Jamie Hince complete with a gown made for a supermodel!
As we mentioned before, Mossy's gown was designed by her good friend John Galliano and is said to be inspired by Zelda Fitzgerald, wife of American novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald.
A source said of the designer's involvement:
"Kate is his biggest muse and he was never, ever going to let his friend down. He did Kate’s 21st birthday dress, her 30th birthday dress, and Galliano’s show was the first she ever walked for. So this wedding day ties up a lot of things beautifully."
For the first dance as Mrs. Hince, Kate will wear a oyster silk chiffon with a diamond-shape, chain embroidered bodice and cut-out back designed by Stella McCartney.
After that, Moss will change for a third time into her Stella McCartney-designed party dress: a mini with micro bugle beads and a plunging back.
We're worn out just thinking about all those changes, but we're sure Kate will look beautiful in each one.

Take a good look everybody because this is the last time we'll be seeing a single Kate Moss!
The blushing bride was all smiles on the eve of her wedding to Jamie Hince as they stood outside the Swan Pub following their rehearsal.
Just look at that face! She's SO in love.
