Yikes! Stripes!

Katharine McPhee earns her cover girl stripes on the February issue of Lucky magazine.

As much as we love us some McPhee, we wish they left out a stripe or 10. It's just way too much!

The rest of the spread, which included looks from Valentino, Alberta Ferretti and Nanette Lepore, wasn't a huge improvement, but still would have made a better cover.

But don't let this cover fool you. Katharine's all about style! The Smash actress opened up to the mag about her style transformation over the years and her general love of fashion.

Katharine McPhee is a Smash-ing success and her Chihuahua is looking oh-so-fab in the costume department!

The actress says her pooch got herself a job working in wardrobe and we think this has to be one of the best hires Smash has done!

So in case, you didn't know, Jennifer Hudson can SAAAANG!!

NBC is really shaking things up for season 2 of their Broadwaylicous series Smash!

The curtain for the sophomore season won't go up until Feb 5. But the network has generously released a preview of the the drama onto the interwebs to hold fans over for during the holidays.

Larry and Nena weren't so sure about being carried in a bag but they seem to be ok now!
