ICYMI: Amy Schumer got a lot of heat this week after being accused of stealing jokes from at least three different comedians!
Wendy Liebman, Kathleen Madigan, and Tammy Pescatelli tweeted (and then deleted) about the Trainwreck star hijacking old material — the "evidence" of which was shown in a video that surfaced on the web earlier this week.
After the story went viral, Wendy clarified her personal remarks, saying she never actually accused the Inside Amy Schumer star of joke theft and chalked it up to "parallel thinking."
Schumer appeared on Jim Norton's radio show on Wednesday to defend herself, saying that she never saw the comedy specials she allegedly stole from.
The 34-year-old said that Wendy and Kathleen have since backed off, and named Tammy the leader of her lynch mob — wondering if maybe this stink was just a ploy for Tammy to get some publicity!
After the show, Tammy posted (then deleted) a few Tweets firing back at Schumer for "career shaming" her. Tammy also pointed out that Schumer opened for her at a Chicago Improv studio for a week — and they "have footage":
