Who needs Tom Cruise when you have a hot co-star like Luke Kirby!

Katie Holmes got VERY lucky when she was cast as Luke's love interest in Mania Days.

The pretty pretend couple was seen shooting even MORE scenes laughing, smiling, and holding hands in NYC this week.

But since the love story is about two manic depressives, we're betting the playful lightness of their onscreen relationship will be taking a dark turn soon enough.

Thankfully, the drama won't be real because we would NOT be upset if this twosome was added to the looonnnnggg list of co-stars turned real-life lovers!!!!!

We've been waiting for-ev-er for the return of Joey Potter!

Things got a little cray cray there with our girl-next-door, Katie Holmes, during her marriage with Tom Cruise, but now we're back to the good ol' days.

Not only is she looking like her smiley self again, but she's back to movie-making which she really kind of didn't do much of during her marriage.

Sooo…does this mean Scientology's spell on her is definitely broken now?? LOLz!

Katie kept it cute, casual and couple-y while filming with Luke Kirby in New York for their new flick, Mania Days. And we must admit, we like this dressed down Katie!

Sure, we love her fashionista side, but THIS is the Katie we grew up with on Dawson's Creek.

And face it, we can't help but live in the past when it comes to our fave shows!

We knew it was too good to be true!

Despite reports that Suri Cruise was going to be launching her own fashion line at only 7 years of age, a spokesperson for Katie Holmes has quashed those rumors, calling them "100 per cent" false.

And we have to admit that, even though we think Suri's fashion sense is KILLER, it would be kind of weird for someone so young to be thinking about anything besides going to school and playing and frolicking around the park.

She's still so young, and there are still so many play dates to be had with the children of rich Upper East Siders, who will one day become hedge fund managers.

If anything, she should focus on networking right now.

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy went to court last week for their divorce trial, but since Hoppy wants a little more than just money, the Real Housewives of New York City star is doing everything in her power to get sole custody of the former couple's daughter Bryn.
