Kayaker Rescues Dog From Middle Of The Sea

A man was kayaking in the ocean and filming himself, just incase he caught "the big one."

Out of nowhere he noticed a dog swimming nearby, so he called to it and pulled it up into his kayak.

After rescuing the dog, he found out that it belonged to a woman who was just hit and killed by a car.

The dog was injured and scared and fled the scene, running away until he ran out of land, then continued out into the sea.

The dog has been returned to the family and will hopefully help them in this time of ultimate loss.

kayak removes ads from all american muslim

So much drama surrounding this show!

To recap, earlier this month, Visionaire Media filed a lawsuit against Discovery Communications, claiming they stole the idea for TLC's All-American Muslim from them!

Then, the Florida Family Association spoke out against the show, which "follows five muslim families living in Michigan and documents discrimination they face on a regular basis." As a result, Lowes made the cowardly decision to pull their ads from the show.

Surfer Almost Swallowed By Whale

Several humpback whales have been hanging around the Santa Cruz area.

They've been feeding on anchovies, which they swim around until they get them all group together into a massive cloud of anchovy and then the whales swim straight up, mouths open, and devour tons of anchovies at the same time.

A surfer and two kayakers just happened to be in the exact spot where two whales breeched.

Check out the above video to see a surfer almost get knocked off her board and into a whale's mouth.

That is one brave kayaker, because that is one huge whale!

Blue whales truly are gentle giants, and this video proves it.

We DO NOT recommend trying this at home but we're glad this guy did, it really shows the beauty of these magnificent creatures.

Check out the above video for an amazing close encounter with a giant blue whale.

Shark Pulls Man's Kayak A Half Mile

Shark kayak attack

The above picture may be a slight dramatization… LOLz!

A 51-year-old man in England was fishing from his kayak when suddenly he hooked a shark.

He fought with the 6-foot shark, not letting go of the rod for over half an hour!

Crazy!

During their epic battle, the shark dragged him in his kayak over half a mile!

The man said:

"It was a rather satisfying 'Jaws'-type of thing."

Eventually the shark got tired and he was able to reel it up onto his kayak so he could take a few pictures before releasing it back into the water.

Everyone wins!

A father and son were fishing in a kayak (ya know, those super dinky little boats?) when they caught a 7-foot long shark!!

We might have peed right there in the kayak, but this little boy doesn't seem scared at all.

Shark Vs. Kayak Fishermen

AHHHHH!!

Why. Would. You. Do. That?

Here's a tip Kayakers: DON'T TRY TO CATCH A SHARK WHILE YOU'RE IN YOUR KAYAK!!

If we were bobbing in a little piece of plastic in the middle of the ocean you can bet we wouldn't try to literally lure a shark closer.

Watch this video to see how it worked out for this guy after he struggled to catch a shark and fell into the water!
