Is Sookie heading back to Stars Hollow after all!?

Ever since it was announced that Gilmore Girls would be getting a four-part reunion on Netflix, we've been wondering if Melissa McCarthy will reprise her role as Sookie St. James.

Last month, a questionable tweet from the actress led us to believe she wouldn't be appearing in the reunion at all.

But after the Ghostbusters star had a mini Gilmore Girls reunion this weekend, we can't help but wonder if she changed her tune!

Netflix's Gilmore Girls Revival Is Officially On With Almost The Entire Original Cast — But Which Stars WON'T Be Joining Them?

This is too much for us to handle.

We were pleasantly surprised back in October when those rumors that Gilmore Girls was getting a Netflix reboot turned out to be true, but now we're left sitting here in painstaking anticipation.

While there have been conflicting reports regarding the structure of the WB classic's new episodes, we are happy to say we now know which of the original cast members are already signed on for the revival!

Obviously, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will be returning to Stars Hollow as Lorelai and Rory Gilmore — there wouldn't even be a show to reboot without them — but they'll reportedly be joined by Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena!

Plus, we're hearing that Amy Sherman-Palladino and David Palladino will both be back on as executive producers and writers with Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions.

While we'll have to pour one out for the absences of Melissa McCarthy, Jared Padalecki, Liza Weil, Milo Ventimiglia, and Matt Czuchry, we guess it's a good thing they're too busy with their current gigs to take a break.

Are U excited to see Lorelai, Rory, Luke, Emily, Kirk, and Lane back on your television computer screens in late 2016??

P.S. Rest in peace, Edward Herrmann. We'll miss ya.

It's about to be our favorite time of the year!

Netflix has been making wishes come true thanks to their revivals of fan favorites like Arrested Development, The Killing, and, most recently, Fuller House, and they're about to do it again.

We already shared the good news that Gilmore Girls would be coming back to the streaming service with four new, 90-minute episodes, but now we know even more about the reboot!

Apparently, the four mini-movies will follow the course of one calendar year, with each episode representing a different season.

Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, and Scott Patterson are all currently in talks to return to the Amy Sherman-Palladino series, and we can't wait to see which other cast members stop by!

You'll still have to wait over a year until the episodes come out, but just knowing they're actually happening is good enough for us!

Gilmore Girls Will Reportedly Have A Limited-Series Revival Thanks To Netflix!

THIS IS THE BEST NEWS!

We can't even!

We're thrilled to hear that we might not have seen the last of Gilmore Girls after all! After the show ended in 2007, we thought the days of Lauren Graham's fast-talking and Alexis Bledel's endless pop culture references were no more.

But, we're pleasantly surprised to learn we were wrong!

Sources are saying that Netflix and Warner Bros. have reached an agreement that will launch a limited-series revival of the wildly popular dramedy!

Related: Where Is The Gilmore Girls Cast Now?

According to insiders, the series' creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino will be writing four 90-minute episodes to end Gilmore Girls they way they always intended.

In fact, the new installment is believed to take place after a time-jump, catching up with the quirky characters in present day — about eight years from what we last saw.

Amy wasn't involved in the season finale because she had left the program before season 7 due to a contract dispute with the studio.

Confidantes say that, while casting has only just begun, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, and the two leading ladies are expected to finish out their roles.

It's also being reported that most of Rory's main men are coming back, and there's even a chance that we'll see ALL of her major love interests!

So, whether you were #TeamDean, #TeamJess, or #TeamLogan, there's a good possibility all three of these gorgeous guys will return for the revival!

That means we might get to drool over Jared Padalecki as the super sweet first love, obsess about Milo Ventimiglia's beautiful brooding, and ogle Matt Czuchry's good looks once again!

Although neither Netflix nor WB has commented on the project yet, we are so excited for this AH-mazing show to have new life!
