The 73-year-old singer paid tribute to Carole King with one of her best-ever renditions of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, and she practically moved the entire audience!

Miranda and Kerry are beautiful in ball gowns.

The Kennedy Center Honors just got so much better!

Thanks to the presence of the impossibly stunning Kerry Washington and Miranda Lambert, the annual event had serious glam factor!

The Scandal star brought major sex appeal in a strapless black Alexander McQueen number with dark blue feathered embellishments on the bra cups! Extravagant!

Miranda's style was less dramatic but still gorgeous, as she chose an ice-blue strapless gown with very voluminous skirt for the occasion.

Her soft wavy hair and drop earrings provided the perfect touch.

It's hard to pick a fave, isn't it?

Eddie Murphy Does His First New Stand-Up Comedy In 28 Years! Watch As He Unleashes On Bill Cosby While Accepting The Mark Twain Prize!

Eddie Murphy may have refused to impersonate Bill Cosby earlier this year on Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary show — but we guess he changed his mind!

The comedy legend performed what was basically his first bit of stand-up in 28 years on Sunday when he was honored with the Kennedy Center's 18th annual Mark Twain Prize!

While accepting the humor award that Cosby won back in 2009, the 54-year-old quipped:

"Bill has one of these. Did you all make Bill give his back?"

The actor was referring to the alleged efforts by some to have Cosby return his award in the wake of his sexual assault allegations. Murphy continued:

AMAZE!!!

Michelle Obama made the ultimate grand entrance at Sunday's Kennedy Center Honors reception, wearing a spectacular Marchesa gown fit for a royal!

We can't deal with this flawlessness!

The emerald dress featured a full skirt and beautiful off-shoulder, drop-sleeve effect that elevated it from a typical ball gown into something much more memorable!

Designer Georgina Chapman must've been ELATED to see the First Lady in one of her brand's designs! How exciting!

Oh, yeah, and the prez looked nice in his tux, of course. Ha!

What a lucky guy he is!

Five names are set to receive their rainbow ribbon of honor!

The Kennedy Center has announced their annual honorees and we are liking who they picked this year! Some we can't believe haven't been chosen before!

Billy Joel is representing rock 'n roll. Shirley MacLaine is being honored for her accomplishments on the big screen (although we think it's no coincidence that she's finally being recognized after her guest spot on Downton Abbey!)

Jazz pianist Herbie Hancock is being awarded for his decades of smooth songwriting. And for the first time EVER, two Hispanics are being named Kennedy Center Honorees in the same year!
