Guess one just wasn't enough!
After many complained that the theatrical trailer released for the updated version of Footloose followed too closely to the plot of the original, a second version has been released, featuring more scenes with new leads Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough!

Definitely LOVING the energy here!
We'll be curious to see how this holds up, though!

Pretty lucky break!
MTV Dancelife's Kenny Wormald has been cast as Ren in the upcoming remake of Footloose to star opposite Julianne Hough as Ariel.
Dennis Quaid will also appear in the film as Reverend Moore.
Writer/director Craig Brewer says:
"I can promise Footloose fans that I will be true to the spirit of the original film, but I still gotta put my own Southern grit into it and kick it into 2011. It's going to be a blast!"
The film is scheduled for release on April 1, 2011.
