On Tuesday Kevin Corcoran, who played the youngest brother in the classic 1957 film Old Yeller, died at 66 years old. The former Disney actor had been suffering from colorectal cancer for five years.
Unfortunately, he lost his battle at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California.
In addition to portraying Arliss Coates in the iconic tale about the heroic dog, Kevin also appeared in the sequel, Savage Sam, as well as several other Disney flicks like The Shaggy Dog, Swiss Family Robinson, Bon Voyage!, Pollyanna, and Babes in Toyland.
In recent years, he served as a producer for shows like The Shield and Sons Of Anarchy.
Shawn Ryan, who created The Shield, took to Twitter to share his condolences, writing:
Just learned Kevin Corcoran passed away. He was a prolific child actor and then a delightful person and producer, including on The Shield.

The Santa Monica, California native had seven siblings, all of whom had acting careers during the '50s and '60s. Kevin is survived by his wife, Laura.
Our hearts go out to everyone affected my this incredible loss.
