The show is called Comic Book Men and it looks hilariously nerdy.

But to be fair, he seems mainly upset that his actors didn't receive any nominations.

Kevin Smith just landed an unscripted reality series called Secret Stash!

Here's what it's about, and here's what Kevin Smith has to say about his new home at AMC:

Secret Stash, executive produced by Kevin Smith, Charlie Corwin’s Original Media and Elyse Seiden (Red State), is set in Smith’s iconic comic shop Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. AMC has ordered 6 hourlong episodes of the series, which aims to capture the world of the neighborhood comic book store and fanboy culture, for a 1Q 2012 launch. “Draper. Meth. Zombies. This show couldn’t be on a better network,” said Smith, referring to AMC’s flagship dramas Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.

“AMC is to television what Miramax was to cinema back when I first got in the game: they’re the premier destination for any story-teller looking to spin an offbeat yarn that no other outlet has the stones to touch. And as if I didn’t love them enough, now they’re putting my friends on TV! I’m ecstatic, proud, and extremely lucky to be in bed with a network I watch religiously anyway. And if they’d pushed just a little harder in the negotiations, I’d have done this show for no payment beyond early access to every episode of Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead.”

Sounds incredible to us!

Not only that, but when he talks about the show amidst the other line-up, we can't help to think that AMC is one of the best places to be on TV for unique programming.

Though, financially they've been treating their shows like jerks.

Why can't it be all good over there?!

At least one person benefited from Tiger Woods' infidelity scandal.

Kevin Smith, who was booted off a Southwest plane last year for being "too fat" around the same time Tiger's scandal broke, says he will "always owe" the golfer for deflecting the controversy.

The American public could have been worrying about Kevin Smith's weight, but instead was immediately drawn to the sensational media coverage of Tiger's many mistresses.

Recently, Kevin looked back on the Southwest incident and shared how grateful he remains for Tiger Woods, saying:

"It was really bad [and] disconcerting. And that fake plastic heart in their logo, I thought was just absolute bull– and I lost all faith in humanity. I sat there for three days going, 'Life will never be the same, I'm humiliated, there's nowhere to go, nothing to do. I can't retain my cool, my credibility's shot. How am I supposed to be that Kevin Smith if I'm that dude who just got booted off the plane for being fat? Three days later Tiger Woods came out and was like, 'I cheated on my wife,' and nobody cared I was fat anymore. I love Tiger Woods! I don't care about golf, but I'll always owe him."

LOL! We're happy Tiger's troubles weren't in vain!

We're also happy that the plane incident may have served as a wake-up call for the movie director because he went on to lose 65 pounds! We hope he's able to keep it off too!

We're not in Leonardo, NJ anymore!

Check out the RESTRICTED trailer (above) for Kevin Smith's horror flick Red State, which we're actually thinking looks pret-ty good!

Smith went through quite the process getting this movie out there, and now it's officially headed to video-on-demand this Labor Day weekend, AND it hits theaters in October.

We're pumped about Melissa Leo's performance here! Scaaaaaaary!

How does that tail feel between your legs there, buddy!

You may not recall, but Kevin Smith pissed off a lot of people at Sundance this past year when he bought the distribution rights for his own movie Red State at the festival after staging a huge auction for it. He paid himself quiet handsomely too - a whole $20 bucks - and then ventured off on a tour with the film across the country. He made a cool million off the venture, but now he's in need of a bigger company with more pull to take his thriller to the next level.

Well, actually, he wanted you last week when he put up a casting call for comic geeks to meet up with him at his The Secret Stash shop in Red Bank, N.J. … but maybe next time!

Kevin Smith is trying his hand at reality television, crafting a series based on the "comic book lifestyle" he's so masterfully captured in his scripted films. He plans to shoot for three-days starting next Tuesday (June 14th) with "real people who live and breathe the comic book lifestyle." The casting call notice, which was posted on his Facebook, added that participants in series "must be funny outgoing and have a knowledge and passion for comics, superheroes, movie memorabilia and everything that goes with it."

Kevin added on his Twitter last night that the series had already been picked up by AMC and pitched the show to his followers, while also asking comic collectors to come by the store during shooting. He tweeted:

“It’s Pawn Stars for Fanboys, and if you have something to sell/trade/or value, we want you to bring it to us!"

Well, you heard the man! Time to trek it to Jersey, fanboys! Light speed to Endor the Garden State!
