Well, American Idol’s season twelve premiere might not have gotten the ratings the network was looking for, but there has definitely been some standout talent!

You’d think after all these years of reality TV sob stories, we’d become desensitized… but that didn’t seem to be the case with last night’s episode!

One contestant, Lazaro Arbos had us — and the entire panel — all choked up with his inspirational story and beautiful voice!

There was also Kezban, whose colorful personality and voice were more than memorable and then Kiara Lanier’s audition, which is worth a watch if only just for Nicki Minaj’s ladybug song! LOLz!
