Is anyone else totally stoked to see Hit Girl tear up bad guys left and right while Kick-Ass just kind of stands there and watches? We are and we won't have to wait much longer because the sequel is going into production in about 2 months!
Mark Millar, one of the authors of the graphic novels, sat down for an interview recently and revealed:
Brad Bird (The Incredibles) is directing the new Mission: Impossible 4 movie, and we couldn't be more excited to see what he's going to do with it. We've seen the kickass trailer, and above we have the new poster for it!
As we reported back in November, residents of Seattle, WA may sleep a little more soundly at night, because there are reportedly not just one, but a TEAM of super heroes, called The Rain City Superhero Movement, patrolling the streets and fighting crime!
Check out this clip (above) of one such man, known as Phoenix Jones, actually opening up to the press about his crime-fighting!
"When I walk into a neighborhood, criminals leave because they see the suit. I symbolize that the average person doesn't have to walk around and see bad things and do nothing. I don't condone people walking around on the street with masks. Everyone on my team either has a military background or a mixed martial arts background, and we're well aware of what it costs to do what we do."
Oh man. Check out that costume.
That's some serious commitment!
We just hope that these guys actually do know what they're doing, and don't get in over their heads!
Amazing! Who needs Kick Ass? We have real life superheroes!
Check out this amazing surveillance footage of a comic book store owner, dressed as Spider-Man for International Free Comic Day, apprehend a villainous thief attempting to steal a $150 comic!
The hero, Michael Baulderstone, says:
"We had about 40 people dressed up as their favorite superheroes to celebrate International Free Comic Day, so he didn't have much of a choice but to hand the X-Men omnibus back after a little bit of a scuffle."
