We're soooo relieved!

After six days of being held captive by a gun-toting murderer, 5-year-old Ethan is finally free.

When law enforcement stormed Jimmy Lee Dykes' underground bunker this afternoon, they say the violent madman held a gun to his young captor.

It's still unclear exactly what happened next, but now the 65-year-old assailant is dead and Ethan is safe.

FBI Special Agent Stephen Richardson revealed:

"Negotiations deteriorated and Mr. Dykes was observed holding a gun. At this point, FBI agents, fearing the child was in imminent danger, entered the bunker and rescued the child."

While we're curious to learn HOW the boy was rescued, we're beyond elated to know this standoff is over!

Last Tuesday, Ethan — a kindergartener with Aspergers and ADHD — was taken off his Alabama school bus after his soon-to-be kidnapper killed the driver.

Uh Oh!

Nas is being sued for $10 million after a concert promoter was kidnapped when the rapper didn't make it to an Angola show.

The concert promoter, Patrick Alloco, filed a federal lawsuit this past Friday. In the paperwork he states that Nas should be held responsible for his kidnapping back in December of 2011. When Nas failed to appear at the show with a $300,000 advance, Patrick and his son were held captive and beaten by another promoter for 50 days.

Along with the torturous kidnapping, Patrick lost his home and job and is hoping to be reimbursed for the psychological, physical, and financial damages he has suffered all thanks to Nas' absence that night.

Nas, however, claimed that he never had official plans with the promoter.

Pedro Hernandez is in court today for the trial to determine whether or not he murdered Etan Patz over 33 years ago.

Even though he is pleading not guilty, he had already confessed to the murder a few months ago, but his lawyers claim that was due to his mental illness and is not valid.

However, details of his confession have been leaked to the public and it is shocking to read to say the least:

Pedro Hernandez, the man who provided a unsolicited confession to police for the murder of Etan Patz in 1979, was officially charged with 1st degree kidnapping and a 2nd degree charge of murder.

However, despite his admission to police - him and his lawyer have plead Not Guilty for the murder of Patz and cite his confession as the result of Hernandez's mental disorder and general poor mental health in general.
