According to Nike, the short will premiere during NBA's All-Star weekend in February.

For those of you curious about the origin of the name "Black Mamba," it's a nickname that Kobe gave himself after seeing the Kill Bill films.

And yes, Robert Rodriguez was heavily involved in Kill Bill Vol. 2, as the film's score composer.
