According to new reports Ryan Lanza, the gunman who killed 27 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School this morning, shot and killed his own mother, Nancy Lanza.
Nancy was kindergarten teacher at Sandy Hook, and believed to be the main target of the shooting.
Authorities say Ryan shot his mother inside her classroom, before he took aim at the students. The reports suggest that most of the children murdered in the school were in that classroom.
