He had hooked up with a woman in a bar and the woman later accused him of forcibly having sex with her in his home.

After winning Wimbledon a week ago, Federer started his 287th week at No. 1 — one more than Sampras.

Here's what he said:

"[I'm] extremely proud and honored to have beaten Pete's record as he was my childhood hero and I have always looked up to him."
