Did You Know The National Anthem Is Actually Really Long?! Watch The Patriotic Hijinks HERE!

Anyone who's ever been to a sporting event knows they all start the same way: with the Star-Spangled Banner!

But there's one thing sportsball fans might not be aware of. The version they usually hear is actually just ONE verse of the national anthem!

So when Kinky Boots star Lena Hall was asked to sing before a Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball game, she decided to give the attendees a little something extra!

Just as the words "And the home of the brave" were leaving her mouth, fans were preparing to put their hats back on and the players started heading back to the dugout! That is, until Lena started singing ANOTHER verse!

Ch-ch-check out the HIGHlarious reactions to the extended version of the national anthem (above)!

Perez Reviews: Kinky Boots - On Broadway!

Kinky Boots is good fun and definitely worth seeing!

UNFORTUNATELY, we were were expecting more and we left the show a bit disappointed.

Our biggest issue was the music. It was neither great nor bad. It felt uninspired - or perhaps a bit too inspired by other songs!

Cyndi Lauper's Tony-winning score felt like a pastiche. You have the song that sounded like Turn The Beat Around. The song that sounded like a Jackson 5 song. That other song that sounded a lot like that other song. And, sadly, none of it felt very original.

A Tony award doesn't always go to the BEST nominee in a category. It is often a popularity contest!

Cyndi's win at this year's Tony Awards felt unmerited. Though we love her!

The same can be said of Kinky star Billy Porter. He was really good in the role of Lola. But he didn't dazzle us with a wholly original and creatively-conceived character. Like Lauper's score, Porter's portrayal felt too familiar. It too was a pastiche. A little Tina here. A lot of RuPaul there. And not enough FRESH.

Very solid. But not Tony-worthy, in our book.

Stark Sands, on the other hand, stole the show for us! He was a revelation! An equally great actor - he cried on stage! - and a phenomenal singer.

Director Jerry Mitchell did the best he could with a fun but surprisingly cookie-cutter book by Harvey Feinstein. The staging was fun and the ensemble was engaging.

We liked Kinky but we wanted a bit more of a heel!

Cyndi Lauper Is So Fabulously Unusual At The Tony Awards

cyndi lauper tony awards 2013 red carpet
Cyndi Lauper walks the red carpet for the Tony Awards 2013

She may not have worn a pair of Kinky Boots, but she was still fabulously unusual!

Cyndi Lauper was a HUGE winner Sunday night at the Tony Awards, winning Best Original Score, and she looked adorrrrable.

For the red carpet, the 59-year-old wore a black lace tunic over black pants and her fiery red hair was in a punk faux hawk. But, when it came time to celebrate her win, Cyndi changed into her real party outfit: a bright red peplum top, black pants and wild red bow peep-toe heels.

Oh, and her best accessory of the night? Her shiny new Tony award, which she couldn't help showing off to the entire world.

We don't blame you, Cyn! Scream from the top of the mountains! You just won a well-deserved Tony and we couldn't be more happy for you!
