Looks like the Iron Man 3 news keeps on coming!
Last month, we learned that Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang director Shane Black would be reuniting with Robert Downey Jr. to direct the next installment in the super hero franchise.
Now, we've got some new Iron Man 3 script details for ya:
- Marvel wants Tony Stark to fight against "real-world villains"
- Takes place AFTER The Avengers
- Won't feature any crossover characters from the Marvel Universe
Real-world villains? How much more REAL do you get than Mickey Rourke As Whiplash??? LOLz!

We guess it's officially happening, then!
Although Jon Favreau announced that he would not direct the third film in the Iron Man franchise, it appears that Marvel Studios may have found his replacement in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang director - and Robert Downey, Jr. collaborator - Shane Black!
Sources close to production have revealed Black is in final negotiations to helm the project, although it's unclear whether he, Favreau, or someone else will take on the role as the writer!
Inneresting! Black has a history of writing in the action genre, but we hope that he can bring the wit from the first two!
What do U think?? Are U excited for Iron Man 3??
