Poor Robert Redford!

robert redford says he never gets asked to be in movies

Come on, Hollywood! Show Robert Redford a little more respect! He is a knight, after all…

While at Sundance, Redford spoke up about how he never gets asked to be in movies anymore.

Here's what he had to say about it:

"I ask the question — I say, 'Hey I'd like to be [in that movie]' and they say, 'Would you? You're kidding.' And I say 'No.'"

"Something is happening over the years that makes a lot of people think that I don't do this anymore, when the truth is, it's what I enjoy most."

At least it seems like he's finding SOME work. Here are a couple of roles he's got on the horizon:

- A major role in a Jackie Robinson bio-pic
- A starring role in an adaptation of Bill Bryson's A Walk in the Woods

We're totally on board for a comeback of SIR Robert Redford!

If Mickey Rourke can do it…

Would U like to see Robert Redford become a big-screen presence once again?

Simon's CEO Calls It Quits

simon cowells ceo calls it quits

Looks like soon-to-be-knight Simon Cowell is going to have to find another CEO to rule his kingdom production company while he's out slaying dragons and developing new reality TV shows.

Ellis Watson, the CEO of Cowell's Syco production company took the position in March, but he's already leaving.

Watson has said that he's leaving the position for "family reasons."

What could those possibly be? His wife doesn't want him to be quite so successful?

Do U think it's only "family reasons?" Or do U think there was drama between Simon and his CEO?

Simon Cowell…The Knight?

simon cowell to become a knight

Where do you go from here, Simon? Another reality competition series? Sainthood?

According to reports, Simon Cowell will be knighted in 2011.

The official list of "knights-to-be" comes out on Dec 31, and it looks like Simon's fundraising efforts for Haiti helped get politicians to back him.

Here's what Simon had to say about potential knighthood last year:

"Sir Simon' has a nice ring to it."

Congratulations, Simon! All you need to do now is get some other knights and a round judges' table for your next show and you'll be all set!

Do U think Simon deserves knighthood?
