American Idol's Kree Harrison & Candice Glover Power Through The Final Round!

american idol final round

It’s a particularly close race this year as the top two American Idol contestants duke it out through the final round.

Powerhouse singers Kree Harrison and Candice Glover came to a head last night, performing three songs each: a song of their choice, one chosen by Simon Fuller and their respective coronation song.

Kree took to the stage first with her rendition of Sarah McLachlan’s Angel, followed by her country ballad All Cried Out, and Patty Griffin’s Up To The Mountain. Meanwhile, Candice performed Adele’s Chasing Pavements, her song I Am Beautiful, and I Who Have Nothing.

But as both sang absolutely beautifully, we were left completely undecided. These ladies are just too good!

Ch-ch-check out a couple of their performances (below)!!

American Idol Final Two Revealed! Plus, Alicia Keys Performs Tears Always Win!

And just like that, we’re down to the final two.

American Idol bid Angie Miller adieu last night during the show’s penultimate elimination round — a surprising outcome that left us, as well as the judges, in an utter state of shock!

Yet, Angie took the blow gracefully as she ended her Idol run with Colton Dixon’s Never Gone, leaving the title for Candice Glover and Kree Harrison to claim.

Prior to the final votes, Alicia Keys took to the Idol stage to sing her track, Tears Always Win.

Ch-ch-check out her AH-mazing performance (above)!

Sad, sad. It’s all just so sad. You’ve got that star power, Angie!

Mariah Carey might look all nice and sweet, but she can get down and durty when provoked!

And that shizz is just what happened last night on American Idol.

Oooh, we’re telling you it was GOOD!

The ladiez got into it while the contestants were performing songs currently on the radio.

In major music feuding style, the Billboard Hot 100 list came up, and THAT’S when Mariah threw some serious shade Nicki Minaj’s way!

SO. MUCH. SHADE!

Seriously, disses were flying so hard we’re surprised Nicki’s wig didn’t fall off!

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

american idol final four

Yep, that's right! Our final four ladies are all staying for yet another week!

After Wednesday’s American Idol performance show, placing Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb on top, we weren’t exactly sure who’d be going home this week. But as host Ryan Seacrest announced at the start of last night’s elimination round, there would be “some shocking news that [would] affect the judges and turn the competition upside down.”

He later revealed:

American Idol's Angie Miller & Amber Holcomb At The Top Of The Final Four!

We’re down to the final four on American Idol, and while we thought we recognized the frontrunners, we’re definitely unsure now.

Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb came out on top last night during the Top Four performance show, placing Kree Harrison and Candice Glover just a couple steps behind.

All contestants performed individually twice during the two hour show: a song of their choice followed by one from the one-hit wonder theme. But it was Angie’s rendition of Julie London’s Cry Me A River that had the judges in awe.

Randy Jackson gushed that it was “the best of the night,” to which Nicki Minaj agreed.

Ch-ch-check out her INCREDIBLE performance (above)!!

Amber was claimed, by Mariah Carey, to have finally brought her “star quality.” The contestant sung her best on the cover of Richard HarrisMacArthur Park, seriously impressing the judges.

Yet, Candice and Kree struggled to dominate. On her rendition of Drake’s Find Your Love, Randy told Candice:

American Idol Ladies Take Over As Lazaro Arbos Bids Competition Farewell!

It looks like the American Idol crown is in the hands of the ladies this year!

Lazaro Arbos was eliminated during the results round of the competition show yesterday, making this the first year of the last five in which the show is slated for a female Idol.

Ch-ch-check out Lazaro's heartbreaking farewell (above). SO SAD!

The Cuban singer, who had ended up in the bottom two alongside Amber Holcomb, sadly wasn’t quite up to Idol snuff — something all four judges agreed on. But we still think he's totes ADORBS and talented as well! On to bigger and better, Lazaro!

Now, the remaining five ladies — Amber, Candice Glover, Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, and Janelle Arthur — will have to battle it out.

Who do U think will make it to the final four?! We all know who Mariah Carey's favorite is…
