Sequins, ruffles, and bows, oh my!

Kristin Kreuk pulled out all the stops for the People's Choice Awards red carpet on Wednesday night.

The Beauty and the Beast actress glowed in a blush-colored, sequined one-shoulder dress and beige peep-toe pumps.

We're not so sure about that powder blue clutch, but we know the beast would growl if he saw her in this outfit.

Once upon a time….

An evil witch cast an eeeevil spell on the heads of the CW network. This nasty enchantment caused the innocent network heads to consider canceling REALLY GOOD new shows, like their freshman Beauty And The Beast, before giving it a real chance.

But rejoice Beauty And The Beast fans! The spell has been broken!

The network has decided to give the fairytale drama a WHOLE season pick-up!

After a HUGE spike in the rating last week, the Kristin Kreuk / Jay Ryan starring series will broadcast a nine more episodes this year.

In the begging, B&TB was not doing to well with it's target audience. But now it's averaging about 2.4 million viewers and a 0.9 rating among adults 18-34 — which is kinda baller for a CW show.

Of course, there is a chance the evil witch will return before the show is given a second season… but who wants to worry about that now??

Co-stars getting cozy?? We're okay with that!

The stars of CW's new fairytale series, Beauty & The Beast seem to be getting along quite well!

Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan were spotted sharing a laugh on a golf cart as they made their way to the Comic-Con.

They appear to have more chemistry off screen than they do in the show's trailer!

Wonder how Kristin's boyfriend feels about that… or is that him sitting right next to her???

Hmmmm.

If the teaser (above) is to be believed, Beauty & the Beast won't be much more than 42 minutes of the unequivocally gorgeous Kristin Kreuk running for her life every Thursday.

Not exactly appointment TV!

We learn nothing of "the beast" here but the rumor mills agree he's a Hulk-like character who turns extra beastly when the "beauty" he stalks loves is threatened.

Reminiscent of the the identically titled ‘80s series starring Sarah Connor Linda Hamilton and Hellboy Ron Perlman, we’re not positive this show warranted a reboot.

The trailer will be especially disconcerting for legions of disenfranchised Secret Circle fans might now begin to wonder whether CW is punking them!

According to industry sources, Beauty & The Beast could very well serve as rich dessert to the Ian Somerhalder-filled Vampire Diaries next Fall.

The team behind the fairy tale series is trying hard to secure the spot (and therefore secure higher ratings)! We are totally 100% behind this!!

Not sure about B&B yet?? Well fans of Smallville probably already know ALL about it. Yep! Lana Lang is back on The CW!!
