What an amazing night!

Really, we were super-impressed with the Emmys this year. Jane Lynch brought hosting to a whole new level. Every award was entirely well-deserved. And the writing … the Emmys should give themselves an award next year for this! Seriously, round of applause to your team for a genuinely entertaining show!

Good on ya!

Winning big tonight were Julianna Margulies and Kyle Chandler, who both just walked away with the Emmys for Best Lead Actress & Actor in a Drama Series. The Good Wife made a touch speech, while Coach Taylor soaked up the Sunday Night Lights (get it?) to the sound of roaring applause!

Although the teaser trailer was released a few months ago, production is only JUST getting underway on the much-speculated about, super secret Steven Spielberg/J.J. Abrams collaboration - Super 8 - and it looks like the project is finally get its cast!

Friday Night Lights actor Kyle Chandler and Dakota's little sis, Elle Fanning, are reportedly attached to star in the mystery film, which according to rumors, involves three siblings who discover footage of extra-terrestrial life on a camcorder.

Inneresting! Sounds a little too much like E.T. at this point, but we can't imagine Spielberg would allow that to happen!

We're cautiously optimistic about this one! It has a lot of potential to be really cool!
