Such a shame.

We reported a while back that George Lopez and his wife, Ann, were planning to divorce - and now it's on its way to becoming official.

Ann Lopez has reportedly filed the paperwork with the El Lay County Superior Court, and has cited "irreconcilable differences." She's also asking for spousal support and primary custody of the couple's 14-year-old daughter.

We sincerely hope that this process can be as painless and amicable as possible.

Will the court let Slash have his wife back?

Slash and his wife, Perla Ferrar, have reconciled, so the rocker has filed for a dismissal of his divorce in L.A. County Superior Court.

Hopefully the court will sign off on the dismissal.

If they both want back in, we see no reason why they shouldn't get a second chance!
