Just last week, Dennis Rodman made his third trip to North Korea to help train their men's basketball team and attempt to set up a match for Kim Jong-Un's birthday.

The former basketballer has claimed that these trips are completely harmless, but it seems clear that he doesn't fully understand the seriousness of the situation overseas. Well someone who has seen the horrors firsthand is finally trying to give Dennis the wake-up call he so desperately needs!

Chinese Woman Sentenced To One Year in Labor Camp For A Tweet

This is sick.

Cheng Jianping has been sentenced to one year of “re-education” at a Chinese labor camp for Tweeting.

Her fiance Hua Chunhui Tweeted a satirical comment regarding the anti-Japanese demonstrations in China last month, which joked about urging protesters to smash Japan’s pavilion at the Shanghai Expo.

Hua retweeted the comment adding, “Charge, angry youth.”

Just days later, Chinese authorities arrested her for disrupting social order and sentenced the innocent 46-year-old woman to one year of labor in the Shibali River women’s labor camp.

Cheng is a social activist and has already been detained for five days in August after voicing her support for Liu Xianbin, the organizer of the China Democracy Party. She also just began a hunger strike to protest the sentence, which her lawyers have appealed.

Twitter is actually banned in China, but it’s still possible to get past the blockade.

So sad.
