George Clooney's Lake Cuomo Villa Broken Into! And What The Thieves Took Is Most Precious To George!
Intruder alert! Stranger danger! Protect the wine at all costs!
An intruder has been arrested for allegedly scaling the walls of George Clooney's second home in Lake Cuomo, Italy, and even helped himself to his wine cellar.
No, it wasn't Steve Wynn, and thankfully George wasn't home.
After the intruder helped himself to a bottle, he tried breaking in through the main door, when a maid called the police. Unlike the wine he partook in, this isn't going to be a very good year for this burglar.
After the call was made, the trespasser was probably like "Damn, we're in a tight spot," because the military police arrived, and he threatened them with his bottle.
And in the match of armed military police vs. dude with a bottle, it looks like this thief lost! The 29-year-old Romanian man was arrested.
We're glad that nothing serious was stolen, and that hopefully this won't affect George's upcoming wedding plans!
