Last month, we were excited to report that Aliens' Mad About You's Paul Reiser is returning to TV with NBC's The Paul Reiser Show!

Now, Reiser has opened up about his return to the small screen. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I felt America needed me…I'm joking. I wasn't at all looking for it."

"There was no plan. This came about when a nice executive from Warner Bros. called me and said, 'We'd like for you to develop something for you.' And I'm nothing, if not susceptible to flattery and nice things, so I just wrote my life and when it was done, I thought, 'This is very fun. I know people would watch this.' It felt like the timing was right."

And here's Reiser on an upcoming appearance by Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David on his show:

"I called Larry and I said, 'I'm sure you're not going to want to do this, but we wrote this part for you and you gotta do it,' And he was so gracious and he said, 'Here' s the thing, I don't like to memorize scripts so we'll improvise it.' And I said, 'Done, let's do that.' And then I got very nervous to be honest because he's brilliant and he's developed that art form."

A Paul Reiser/Larry David combo? Sounds good to us!

Glad to have you back on TV, Paul! It just feels right.

We're thinking/hoping that you'll be in our lives for a very long time to come. Let's be honest…at this point, we've known you long enough that we kind of trust your ability to make us laugh.

Set your DVRs, people!!

HBO has confirmed the premiere dates for its hit shows True Blood and Curb Your Enthusiasm!

Sookie and Bill (and Eric) fans will be able to sink their teeth into new episodes on June 26 at 9 pm, which is when True Blood's 12-episode fourth season starts.

Larry David's hilarious show Curb Your Enthusiasm will premiere its 10-episode Season 8 on July 10 at 10 pm. There are sure to be a ton more awkward moments for us to laugh (and cringe) along with Larry.

Summer is shaping up to be pretty awesome. Who needs the pool, BBQs, and the beach?? We've got HBO!

Ouch!

Will Ferrell and Larry David have both not only lost an $18 million arbitration case against JPMorgan, but were in return fined $634,000 for "discovery abuse and failure to comply with the forum's discovery rules!"

The two funnymen were aiding business manager Matt Lichtenberg in his case against the brokerage firm, claiming "unathorized and unsuitable purchases of unspecified preferred securities," but the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, which handles their complaints, ruled against them!

In FINRA's decision letter, they explained:

"After three motions to compel discovery by [JPMorgan] and three orders from the panel, [members of Lichtenberg's team] were still supplying ordered documents on the afternoon of the second day of the evidentiary hearing."

David and Ferrell must also pay $600,000 to JPMorgan for legal fees and $12,000 for arbitration costs.

Right on the heels of accusations that she has been carrying on an affair with Al Gore, Larry David's ex-wife Laurie released this statement:

"The story is completely untrue …I adore both Al and Tipper. I look at them both as family. And I have happily been in a serious relationship since my divorce."

There you go! But then who is she in a serious relationship with?!

According to Star Magazine, Al and Tipper Gore ended their marriage because he was having an affair with Larry David's ex, Laurie.

WTF?!

They have reportedly been carrying this on for two years!

"Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers," claims an insider. "It couldn’t be avoided."

Laurie and Larry split in 2007 after reports that she was cheating with the caretaker of their summer home in Martha's Vineyard.

Even intelligent people think with the wrong head!

Serious bank!

The reruns of the super successful Seinfeld have made $2.7 BILLION since the show went off the air 12 years ago!

Jerry Seinfeld and co-creator Larry David have an undisclosed ownership stake in the show that provides them with millions each year — but it looks like the other co-stars didn't hold out for that in their contracts so they don't receive any syndication money.

Bummer!
