Roid rage much?
Former All-Pro running back Larry Johnson is facing a lawsuit from a man who claims he was brutally beaten by the NFL star after leaving a Miami party last week.
According to the victim, John Phillip Graney, Johnson punched, tackled, and kicked him until he was "beaten and brutalized."
According to the court papers filed last week, the victim of Johnson's rage suffered cuts to his face and ear, bruised chest and knees , 3 herniated discs, and a torn rotator cuff.
The man claims the fight was unprovoked, however, police officers at the scene recall Graney dropping a few inappropriate remarks. Allegedly he told officers:
"This ni**er is going down. He needs to learn a lesson, it's going to cost this prick."
Yuck! We HATE that word and think it should NEVER be used!
Johnson is denying all allegations and his attorney claims, "This is a straight extortion claim designed to seek money."
We find it hard to believe that a beat down of that magnitude was completely "unprovoked". It sounds more like this guy got drunk and picked a fight he could never win.
Based off of what the victim told police, he must have said something pret-ty foul to set Johnson off. Hopefully the truth comes out in court!
