Kirsten Dunst Manhattan November December 2011 Cover Issue

Kirsten Dunst is gracing the cover of Manhattan for their November/December issue, and she looks beautiful!

As for the story that awaits on the inside, well, we hear it's pretty exciting.

Here's a little tease for ya! She talks Lars von Trier (the director who infamously said he sympathized with Hitler at Cannes):

He apologized, and obviously I forgave him. That’s just Lars, and he honestly, honestly didn’t mean what he said, but he just kept going, digging himself deeper.

Lars and Kirsten worked together on the upcoming Melancholia.

In the magazine, Kirsten also talks about babies in the future, being an actor, and women in film.

Kanye West Compares Himself To Michael Jordan…And Hitler

Filed under: Icky Icky PooMusic MinuteZportzKanye WestJay Z

kanye west compares himself to hitler

Why would you EVER invite this comparison under ANY context, Kanye???

During his performance at the Big Chill music festival on Saturday night, Kanye West vented about being misunderstood, and pulled a serious Lars Von Trier.

Here's Kanye's VERY misguided attempt at speaking about how people don't understand him:

Kirsten Dunst Talks Rehab And Depression

kirsten-dunst-talks-rehab.jpg

Kirsten Dunst has been through some ups and downs, but it looks like the actress is back on top. She's opening up about experiencing depression in her late twenties and her 2008 stint in rehab to deal with mental issues.

She says:

"Who you are at 25 and who you are at 29 is a very different thing. For me it feels like a 20-year age gap.

I have experienced depression, Many people have. Mine was caused by a few things. I felt a lot of stress from all these different areas …"

Kirsten is currently starring in the Lars von Trier film Melancholia where she plays a character who is battling depression. Speaking about the role, she says:

"I brought my own slant [to the role] but I am very much portraying Lars’s experience of depression. We met before I did the movie and talked about how the light goes out of your eyes. People don’t talk about depression, so for me it was really amazing that this was going to be portrayed."

Kudos to you, Kirsten, for being so honest about depression. Seems like things are on the up and up for you though. We hope it stays that way.

Not Cool, Orbitz!

courage campaign vs orbitz

We are NOT impressed.

For those who are unfamiliar with them, the Courage Campaign is "an online organizing network that empowers more than 700,000 grassroots and netroots activists to push for progressive change and full equality in California and across the country."

According to the group's Facebook page, they requested that online travel company Orbitz drop their advertisement from "anti-gay Fox."

An Orbitz Spokesperson replied by referring to the request as "the tired tactics of these shady so-called non-profit fringe groups."

Hard for us to imagine that the Orbitz folks could ACTUALLY think that was a smart way to respond! It'd be one thing to politely decline the request, but to refer to the Courage Campaign as "shady?"

Looks like you won't be making too many new friends today, Orbitz! Might want to take a cue from Lars von Trier and issue a sincere apology. Just sayin'.

What do U think about Orbitz' response to the Courage Campaign?
