Last Comic Standing Comedian Mike DeStefano Has Passed Away

So tragic after he had overcome so much!

Comedian Mike DeStefano, who was a finalist on last season's Last Comic Standing, passed away last night after reportedly suffering a massive heart attack.

DeStefano had been a heroin addict who cleaned himself up and stayed clean for 11 years. He gave back by performing for free at rehab centers and prisons.

Here's what his rep had to say in a statement:

"It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a dear friend, a true gentleman, a great comic, and a fierce warrior, Mike DeStefano."

"Mike had a lot of wisdom to share with the world from his own life lessons and he always did it with laughter and a smile."

"It’s hard to think that there won’t be any more 'hey sweetheart' calls, because Mike always made my day with his mix of kindness and warmth AND profanity filled rants against the wrongs of the world. He was the genuine article. We love you and will miss you, Mike."

Our thoughts are with Mike's family, friends, and fellow comedians during this difficult time.

Thank you for making the world laugh, Mike. You will be missed.

Tsk Tsk!

Comedian Ralphie May, winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and former cast member on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, was detained at the international airport in Guam after he was suspected for having a bag of marijuana in his luggage.

A customs agency dog named Nickey, sniffed the marijuana out, which ended up weighing less than an ounce.

Because the amount was so small, May had to go to court and only pay a fine of up to $100.

"If it was more than an ounce it's handled differently," Santo Tomas, a customs agen, said. "But for this particular thing he was to show up and pay a fine."

May's promoter, James Castro, who brought him to Guan to perform, said that May expressed regrets and he looks forward to returning to Guam. "He plans on coming back with his family and will not be doing that again," Castro said.

Ha! We hope not!
