The British host got serious on The Late Late Show Tuesday night while reflecting on the music icon's sudden passing, and he revealed just how much of an impact the former Wham! frontman's music had on him.
He explained to the audience:
"I can remember so many specific times in my life where I might have felt on my own, and George's music would feel like, you would listen to a song and he would reach his hand out and tell you that you weren't on your own and that these feelings were not particular to you."
But later on, Michael made even more of an impact on Corden's life… and career.
