Kate McKinnon Spoofs Jeff Sessions' Dopey Testimony On Seth Meyers — While Late Night Hosts (& 'FLOTUS') Also Get In On The Fun! Watch!

no title

With his pint-sized aggression and southern sass, Jeff Sessions is basically a living Saturday Night Live character.

So, it was perfect timing that the day of the Attorney General's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, the actress who plays him happened to be on Late Night!

Kate McKinnon stopped by the NBC late night show on Tuesday to promote her new film Rough Night — and since SNL is currently on summer break, she broke out her southern, Grinch-like snarl and blessed us with a special reenactment of Sessions' testimony!

This mini-Weekend Update style bit came after Seth Meyers already broke down the AG's hearing earlier in his "A Closer Look" segment, noting Sessions provided nothing but denials and scurrilous innuendos.

Over at CBS, Stephen Colbert also roasted Sessions' frustratingly uninformative testimony, where the only thing he made clear was that he apparently had amnesia for the entire duration of Donald Trump's campaign!

Late Night Hosts Can't Get Enough Of Pope Francis Shading Donald Trump During Their Meeting!

no title

Forgive them, father, for late night hosts have once again gone for the low-hanging fruit by relentlessly roasting Donald Trump.

This time, it was POTUS' awkwardly stiff meeting with Pope Francis that had Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers hurling jabs — but they weren't the only ones!

In his Late Show monologue on Wednesday, Colbert revealed even the Pope couldn't resist making a sinful joke at Trump's expense when he asked Melania Trump, "What do you give him to eat, potizza?"

Noting that potizza is a high-calorie pastry served in Slovenia, Colbert was pleased to point out that "the pope just called the president chubby." Ha!

Yup, even His Holiness can't help but make fun of His Grabbiness. Of course, the best jokes came from the professionals — check them out in the clips (below)!

Paul Ryan Emailed Seth Meyers To Complain About His Scathing Health Care Report — So, The Late Night Host Clapped Back With More Hard Facts!

no title

Seth Meyers' nightly roasts of Donald Trump's administration might not get a response from POTUS himself, but not everyone in that political asshat parade can stay silent after being constantly ripped apart on late night television.

Namely, Paul Ryan, who was apparently so butthurt over Meyers' take on the GOP's Health Care reform bill, he sent the Late Night host an email trying to defend himself!

During last Thursday's "A Closer Look," Meyers eviscerated the House Speaker for his apparent hypocrisy over the health care debate, showing clips of Ryan condemning Democrats for rushing Obamacare in 2010.

According to Meyers, Ryan contradicted his own fight against congressional injustice by using the same tactics to push the American Health Care Act through the House last week.

Well, apparently, the doe-eyed politician didn't like that very much, and sent the comedian an email to complain about Thursday's segment — which Seth picked apart point-by-point during Monday's taping.

Despite disagreeing with every charge made in the email, Meyers was pleased to provoke a response out of one of Trump's closest lackeys, and even invited the fitness enthusiast to appear on a future episode of Late Night!

Ha! That'll be the day! Ch-ch-check out the clip (below).

Seth Meyers Gives The American Health Care Act 'A Closer Look' & Diagnoses Paul Ryan With Hypocritical Douchebag Syndrome!

Filed under: TV NewsDonald TrumpHealthLate Night TVSeth Meyers

Donald Trump is used to getting slammed on late night television.

But unfortunately for POTUS, Seth Meyers' beatdowns will no longer be covered under the American Health Care Act.

The Late Night host grilled House Republicans for their giddy reaction to narrowly passing the Obamacare replacement bill on Thursday, which literally takes from the poor and gives to the rich.

While the reverse-Robin Hood effort still must pass in the Senate before it can become law, Trump and his lackeys Mike Pence and Paul Ryan were already celebrating the victory in a post-vote press conference, to which Seth observed:

"I guess they're just happy they passed something other than a kidney stone… No longer covered, by the way."

Meyers especially went on to blast House Speaker Ryan for rushing the bill through without proper vetting, years after he passionately accused Dems of doing the very same thing with Obamacare.

Seth Meyers Rips Donald Trump For His Recent Civil War Comments!

We didn't think it was possible, but Donald Trump's remarks have been getting more idiotic by the day.

During Monday's Late Night, Seth Meyers gave a breakdown of the President's domineering, yet flimsy grip on being Commander-In-Chief — which, apparently, he knows just as little about as he does basic American history.

In the latest "A Closer Look," Meyers roasted Trump for the comments he made last week that being president is a lot harder than he thought it would be. Yes, he thought running the country would be easier than hosting Celebrity Apprentice.

Even though he's not on a reality show anymore, Trump still has a penchant for dramatic exits — like when he snapped at CBS reporter John Dickerson before sitting back down at his desk — which is, as Seth noted, not as quite dramatic as storming out of a boardroom. Sad!

Seth Meyers Grades Donald Trump's First 100 Days In Office — And It Ain't Pretty!

Government is coming along really well!

At least that's what Donald Trump had to say (yes, that was an actual quote) in regards to the first-act-of-a-disaster-movie that is his first 100 days in office!

Seth Meyers isn't waiting for Trump's official 100-day mark on Saturday to grade POTUS's performance, and to no one's surprise, the Late Night host isn't giving the Cheeto-In-Chief a passing grade.

On Monday night's "A Closer Look," Meyers pointed out that Trump has failed to live up to virtually all of his "100 day contract" campaign promises, including his signature grandiose vow to build a border wall and make Mexico pay for it.

The late night host then went off on the President's recent AP interview, which was riddled with "unintelligible" babblings and Trump brags — like how he just learned about the different factions within the Republican party. (Way to go, Donny! Want a juice box and some chocolate cake?)

Seth Meyers Isn't Buying Donald Trump's New Presidential Tone In His Congress Address — Let Him Explain!

no title

Many who watched Donald Trump's joint address on Tuesday night sensed a change in his tone, as he was speaking like an actual politician instead of an ornery grandpa who forgot to take his meds.

Even most of the Trump-vilified press praised the President's newfound demeanor, but Seth Meyers doesn't want us to get our hopes up just yet.

The comedian commented on the media's positive reaction to Trump's new tone on Wednesday's Late Night, including Fox News' Chris Wallace declaring that Trump "became the president of the United States" during his address.

But Seth wasn't having any of it, and swiftly pointed out this is far from the first time the 70-year-old tried to put on his president pants — only to split them in his next public appearance and reveal himself to be the same old narcissistic hothead.

Do U think POTUS's change is a permanent one? Or will he return back to his old ways in his next press conference?

Watch Seth's take in "A Closer Look" (below)!
