Law & Order: Criminal Intent Gets Sheened!

But it is there own damn fault.

Sources reveal that Jay Mohr has been tapped to star in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. His character is said to be "Charlie Sheen-inspired," and is described as fashion designer whose "badboy reputation of cocaine benders and call-girl parties only skyrockets his career and mints him as the 'lovable rogue.'"

We wouldn't go straight to "lovable" when we think of Charlie, but the rest of that stuff fits the bill nicely. Nice touch, writers, giving him a whole different field to work in. No one will ever make the connection now!

USA Network Renews All Original Programming For Another Season!

Wow!

USA must be doing something right, because nothing got the axe!

The network announced today that their entire line-up of programming will be returning next year, with Royal Pains, White Collar, and Psych all being renewed for another season.

Their other shows, In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent were all previously renewed.

Programming President Jeff Wachtel says:

"It's a wonderful validation that the shows are working. Though it's lovely to celebrate success, it also allows us to push out — you don't want to alienate your base, but you don't want to sit still. In our early days, original programming was seen as an elective. It's not an elective anymore, but it's also not an imperitive to fill time slots. We're still able to be more hand-crafted. We're not going to get to the point of, 'oh my god, we need a comedy block on Monday nights.' It's still going to remain 'no show before its time.'"

Congratulations!

That's a pretty amazing feat, even for cable networks!

What do U think?? Are U excited to see all of these shows coming back??

Law & Order: Criminal Intent Gets Final Season

Although the casting shake-up shocked viewers and was expected to be the demise of the show, Law & Order: Criminal Intent is coming back for a tenth and final season.

USA Network ordered 10 episodes of the series.

Jeff Wachtel, president original programming at the network, said:

“We have been the fortunate caretakers of this legendary series, and we plan to give it the world-class farewell it so richly deserves. Dick and his team promise to create a major event for television with incredible surprises. The plan is for this to be the series finale, but with a Dick Wolf franchise, one really never knows until it’s over.”

And it's been a long run!

Are U happy that Criminal Intent has another season?!

Actor Jeff Goldblum has decided to jump ship and leave Law And Order: Criminal Intent "due to the uncertainty" of the show's future! But his departure is said to be amicable.

The ninth season finale aired on July 6 on USA and the network has yet to decide if there will be a 10th season. Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian all left the show this year, too.

Onward and upward?

Law & Order Heads To The West Side!

Thank goodness!!

What would everyone do if there weren't at least three versions of this series on TV at once?!

Not only are Law & Order and its companions, Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent, pretty much set to be renewed for another year - it looks like they'll be getting another crime drama friend: Law & Order: Los Angeles!

Police Procedural mastermind Dick Wolf is collaborating on the new series with Brotherhood creator Blake Masters, and NBC has already picked up 13 episodes for next fall!

Although we only really dig our beloved Detective Duo Benson and Stabler on SVU, maybe lightning will strike twice and the El Lay edition will be especially awesome!

What do U think?? Will U watch Law & Order: El Lay next season??
