Bert Macklin CHRIS PRATT REPORTING FOR DUTY!!

We couldn't be more excited for this news, you guys — not only is James Gunn directing the next big Marvel franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy, but he just landed his leading man: Chris Pratt!

If you're wondering who that is, you must not watch Parks & Rec., and in that case, what the hell is wrong with you?? Ha!

He's also in Zero Dark Thirty and Moneyball! The only way this day could get better is if we heard that H. Jon Benjamin, Billy West, or John DiMaggio was going to voice Rocket Raccoon!

Oh — that might sound weird if you don't know what Guardians is all about: Quill (Chris) is a half alien/half human astronaut who becomes the Starlord, leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The rest of the team includes Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, and Gamora.

None of the other roles have be filled yet. Because Rocket is indeed a Raccoon, he'll be animated… so they need a voice actor! LOLz!

Seriously… we didn't even know Chris was in the running! This is fab news!

Now it's time to see if speculation is right in that Iron Man 3 will connect to the movie somehow — May can't get here soon enough!! AAAHHH!!

While lead is banned in paint due to its toxicity levels, a study has shown that lead can be found in MANY lipstick brands.

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics did a study and tested over 400 different kinds of lipstick.

Bad news. Most tested positive for lead, which is not safe at any level.

What's even worse, five of the nine worst offenders are made by L'Oreal, the world's largest cosmetic maker.

L'Oreal and the FDA insist there is no need to panic but CSC co-founder Stacy Malkan begs to differ.

She says the following on the lead levels:

Recognizing that there is no safe level of lead exposure, we need to be protecting women and children from all levels of exposure. There are no safety standards.

If you're wary of lead, you may want to tone down the lipstick use!

This isn't good!

A Consumer Reports sample of various apple and grape juice brands found roughly 10% had "total arsenic levels that exceeded federal drinking-water standards."

Even worse is that most arsenic levels exceeding 10 parts per billion (the limit for drinking water) were found to be an inorganic arsenic, which is a known carcinogen!

Although there are no federal limits on arsenic or lead levels in juice, one in four samples yielded levels of lead higher than the FDA’s bottled-water limit of 5 ppb.

Scientific evidence suggests chronic exposure to arsenic and lead, even at levels below water standards, can result in serious health problems, so why is the FDA strictly limiting levels in drinking water and not other liquids like juice?

After all, you know who loves juice? Kids!

The report references a poll of parents that found 35% of children under 5 drink juice in quantities exceeding pediatricians recommendations. Sounds like a lot of juice and, possibly, a lot of exposure to carcinogens to us!

Joshua Hamilton, Ph.D., a toxicologist specializing in arsenic research, makes a good point in favor of stricter FDA regulation of arsenic levels in juice, saying:

"People sometimes say, ‘If arsenic exposure is so bad, why don’t you see more people sick or dying from it?’ But the many diseases likely to be increased by exposure even at relatively low levels are so common already that its effects are overlooked simply because no one has looked carefully for the connection."

The findings have sparked the Consumers Union to campaign that the FDA set arsenic and lead standards for apple and grape juice to meet, if not be lowered, the 5 ppb lead limit for bottled water.
