Kevin Costner Lead Actor MiniSeries 2012 Emmys

Woo! Congrats Kevin Costner!

The oh-so-handsome actor just took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries Or Movie for his role as Devil in Hatfields & McCoys!!!

The mini-series, which premiered just this past May, drew in millions of viewers week after week… and we can only assume Kevin’s one of the reasons why!

The multi-talented distinguished actor also produces the show, so this is a bit of a double-win for him!

This award makes Kevin’s very FIRST Emmy and we think he’s more than deserving of the honor!

Way to go, Kev!

Chace Crawford Submits Himself To Emmys As Lead Actor Contender For Gossip Girl

chace crawford submits himself for emmy

Looks like SOMEONE is taking a cue from Rob Lowe!

Despite the fact that both Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick of Gossip Girl declined to submit themselves to the Emmys, Chace Crawford is going for it anyway!

The actor submitted himself for the Lead Actor in a Drama category, even though the odds are seriously against him.

The only other Gossip Girl actor who submitted herself for an Emmy is Leighton Meester in the Best Actress category.

Good luck, Chace and Leighton! Who knows? Maybe this will be your year and you'll surprise shock everyone! Ha!

Do U think Chace Crawford deserves a Lead Actor Emmy for his work on Gossip Girl?

Rob Lowe Submits Himself To Emmys As Lead Actor Contender For Parks & Recreation

rob lowe submits himself for emmys

Lead actor, eh? Inneresting…

Despite the fact that Rob Lowe's role on NBC's Parks & Recreation could EASILY be construed as a supporting role, the actor has submitted himself in the lead comedy actor category for the Emmys.

Here's what a Parks & Rec rep had to say about Rob's decision:

"[He] decided on his own to enter in the lead category - not NBC. We don't normally decide these things anyway— they do on their own."

Potential actors that Rob COULD go up against include 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin, The Office's Steve Carell, Glee's Matthew Morrison, and The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons.

Guess we'll see if this strategic move on Rob's part works out…

What do U think about Rob Lowe's self-submission? Is he making a smart move?
