Sara Gilbert is so pumped for the Roseanne spinoff, she could use an Ambien! (Too soon?)

The actress sounded off on The Connors, the spinoff ABC greenlit last week without any involvement from Roseanne Barr, on Monday's The Talk.

VOTE: How Will ABC Write Roseanne Out Of The Spinoff??

After cohost Sharon Osbourne congratulated her on the news, the 43-year-old said:

"I'm so excited, thank you all so much. I really appreciate it."

Don't thank us yet, Gil, as many fans are still unsure if the show will work without its racist firecracker of a title character.

A premiere date has yet to be announced for the Roseanne-less reboot, but ABC is committed to airing a 10-episode season that will follow "the Conner family who, after

Roseanne Reboot Tackles Dan's Death, Right-Wing Politics, & Gender Fluidity — And Twitter Is DIVIDED! Recap Here!

ABC's Roseanne reboot premiered Tuesday night, and boy, are the people divided!

While the Conners' old, beaten down couch is the same, the members of America's favorite blue collar family has grown: Roseanne is now a Trump-supporting grandma! Darlene has a gender fluid kid! Dan isn't dead!

Though many fell under the spell of network nostalgia, a number of Twitics just couldn't get past the title character's political beliefs. But defenders argued that Roseanne refreshingly showed a family on both sides of the political spectrum — which we saw in the premiere, as Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) and Roseanne have been divided ever since the election.

Echoing the opinions of the woman who plays her, Roseanne voted for Trump because he talked about jobs "on the real news." Jackie, on the other hand, was so freaked out by her fights with her sister, she ended up voting for Jill Stein instead of Hillary Clinton!

Pushing politics aside, (which Twitter could NOT do — but we'll get to that in a minute) a lot happened in the two-episode premiere. Becky (Lecy Goranson) is back and hoping to become a surrogate for a woman named Andrea (Sarah Chalke, AKA Becky 2).

Darlene (Sara Gilbert) told everyone she came home to take care of her parents, but really she's

Prepare For The Roseanne Reboot By Seeing What The Cast Has Been Up To Since The Series Ended!

We needed a Roseanne revival, like, yesterday!

Because we now live in a society of #WhitePeopleProblems and #SocialJusticeHashtags and could desperately use Roseanne Barr's hilarious social commentary about it all!

Since her blue collar sitcom left the air in 1997, the comedienne has dipped her toes in reality TV, cooking, and even politics. And the rest of the cast has managed to keep almost just as busy.

We might know what John Goodman and Johnny Galecki have been up to, but what about D.J. Conner (Michael Fishman) or Becky 1 (Lecy Goranson)!?

In honor of the series' reboot (premiering tomorrow, March 27, on ABC), find out for yourself…

Here's How The Roseanne Revival Will Incorporate Sarah Chalke — AKA Becky 2!

It wouldn't be a Roseanne reunion without Becky 2!

Producers knew they didn't want to revive the sitcom without Sarah Chalke, who famously took over the role of Becky Conner in season 6 after Lecy Goranson went to college.

Of course, showrunners couldn't have both actresses playing Becky in the reboot — the show already joked about its multiple Beckys in the original run — so, they cooked up a way to get Chalke into the action. Specifically, with her on-screen doppelganger!

According to EW, Chalke will be playing a middle-class married woman named Andrea who hires Becky (Goranson) to be her surrogate. Writers hinted at a plot twist that not only leads to some drama for the Conners but also shows how important both women were to the beloved sitcom.

Chalke, unsurprisingly, loves the new role showrunner Bruce Helford created for her. She told EW:
