It's been about four months since Leelah Alcorn's tragic death, so it makes us so happy to see her memory being remembered in such an uplifting way.
A 13-year-old named Tom Sosnik decided to come out as a trans man to his classmates via an emotional speech.
He urged his peers to educate themselves about the trans community and let them know it was safe to ask him any questions they had about his transition.

Following her suicide early Sunday morning, more of Leelah Alcorn's online activity has come to light, and it's pretty upsetting.
Not only was her suicide note emotional enough, but her past social media posts have unearthed a whole new level of sadness that she was living with.
We already knew that she wasn't a part of the most hospitable home, but her activity on Reddit has added even more pain to her death.
