Take THAT slushie facial, bullies!!
President Obama has officially endorsed the SNDA, SSIA anti-bullying bills!!!
The bills seek to end student discrimination with two different methods…
SNDA prohibits harassment in public elementary and secondary schools based on a student's actual or perceived LGBT status, while SSIA requires schools to adopt anti-bullying codes of conduct.
A spokesman for the White House, Shin Inouye, states:
Applying for jobs can be stressful in and of itself, but what if you were required to turn over private information in order to get hired???
No need to completely sanitize your online identity just yet. Two U.S. Senators have begun investigating a practice that’s been occurring where bosses’ ask for info, like Facebook passwords, in the hiring process.
One of the lawmakers looking into this, Senator Charles Schumer, says:
A positive step in the right direction!
Israel passed legislation on Monday night that makes it illegal to use models that fall below an 18.5 BMI in advertising or publication, making it the first country to do so.
To prove their weight, models will need to provide an up-to-date medical report (no older than three months) at any and all Israeli market shoots.
Not only that, but businesses utilizing Photoshop to make models appear thinner will be forced to include a clearly written notice on the photo.
What do U think of these new practices???

This is a sad but true fact: There are more tigers living as pets in America than there are tigers living in the wild in the rest of the ENTIRE WORLD!
That is just plain wrong.
Estimates claim about 5,000 tigers are living in backyards, urban apartments (what??), sideshows, truck stops and private breeding facilities.
The World Wildlife Foundation has been trying to bring this matter to light for a while now.
Finally Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon (R-CA) and Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) have stepped up and
In Newfoundland every year, tons of seals are bludgeoned to death during the annual seal hunt.
Pretty much everyone ever wants the hunt to end, except Canadian law makers, who go to extremes to find someone to buy the pelts even though almost no one wants them and they're not allowed in US borders.
A member of the Canadian parliament said:
"Part of our history is also whaling, for example, and the day came when the whaling industry stopped.
Now, is that day coming with the seal hunt? It just may be."
He's only wondering aloud if murdering baby seals for their fur is wrong.
He's not even outright coming out against it and he's still under heavy fire from the evil seal hunters and horrible politicians who are vested in the seal hunt.
Ever since Russia (the biggest buyer of seal skins) closed its borders to seal fur, Canada has begun rethinking its stance on the hunt.
The parliament member said:
"We cannot hide behind the debate and pretend that the market for seals is not in trouble. Facing this reality head on is the only way to address this situation."
That market only made 1 million dollars last year. That's not even a drop in the bucket.
And they had to murder baby seals to make that meager amount.
It's no industry; it's just sad, backward and cruel.
C'mon Canada, end the seal hunt!

Following Wednesday's blackout and the Senate postponing voting on the Protect IP Act, the House has decided to redraft the Stop Online Piracy Act.
Lead sponsor and House Judiciary Committee head Lamar Smith (R-TX) wanted to push SOPA through the committee but decided to back down.
