With some frills and lace up top, Lena once again marched to the beat of her own fashion drum.

Paired with minimal accessories, this is a punk that's gone plop.

If we're looking for silver linings, at least her hair and makeup look pretty fab…

…and that's a start!

One of these days Lena Dunham will hire a stylist who will do wonders for her, but sadly, Tuesday wasn’t that day.

Instead of wearing something flattering to the TIME 100 Gala, the GIRLS writer slash actress wore a sparkly gold Saint Laurent dress that was wrong in every aspect.

The frock makes it look like she's trying to be young and cute, it doesn't do her any favors in the chestal region and those shoes are just dreadful.

Better luck next time, Lena.

Most women would kill to have the body of a Victoria's Secret model, but not Lena Dunham!

The award-winning Girls star said in her Playboy interview:

Actually, we don’t really care because this new version is awesome!

The Girls writer and star looked fabulous at the Writers Guild East Coast Awards in NYC on Sunday in a super flattering and super cute animal print Reed Krakoff Resort dress.

Simple her hair and makeup, Fred Leighton jewels and Reed Krakoff sandals completed her wild ensemble.

We hope to see more of this fierce Lena on the red carpet more often!

Why is she so cute?!

Lena Dunham pledged her allegiance to ex-babysitter and designer Zac Posen in an off-the-shoulder chocolate brown gown, decorated with a giant bow on her very own Golden Globes, for her walk down the red carpet.

The Girls actress kept the accessories simple, to off-set the intricacy of the design.

The gown looks like it is meant for someone older, but we're giving her an A for effort!

Lena Dunham isn't exactly known for being a glamourpuss, so it's only fair to judge her slightly less harshly than we would, say, Emma Stone.

Wearing the jumpsuit version of Mariah Carey's (and Jennifer Aniston's!) black and white Valentino gown, the 26-year-old actress looked pretty cute as she arrived on the red carpet for the season two premiere of HBO's Girls.

The jumpsuit, which featured a bow accent on the back, was both youthful and sophisticated.

Lena accessorized with her stiletto pumps, Fred Leighton jewels and various inneresting tattoos.
