Manti Te'o wants the world to know that he DID lie his pants off, but not for very long, and that he's sorry and still the victim of a hoax.

We are waaaaaay less sympathetic now! We can't handle liars — he should have just come clean back in December when he figured it all out… not wait until Jan. 16th!!

He claims he felt he had no choice but to lie to the media and to the public after learning his online girlfriend, that died of leukemia and inspired him to win football games, actually did not exist.

Manti Te'o, in all seriousness, has to be super embarrassed. If he actually had no idea that his girlfriend of years didn't really exist, then we feel for him. We really do.

On the other hand, it's kinda HIGHlarious and leaves the door open to some AH-MAZING spoofs — especially if he's known all along. If he's part of the hoax, it's totally fair game! Ha!
